Automotive Internet BDC Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated, money driven and experienced Internet Sales Manager to join our team! We offer an outstanding pay plan with plenty of opportunity for growth plus health benefits, 401k retirement plan and much more.

The Internet Sales Manager is an integral part of our team and your continuous efforts in setting committed, scheduled appointments for our sales team is key to all our success. You will join this winning team and be involved in training and supervision of the Internet Sales Department.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years management & BDC experience required
  • Experience in a high volume, fast paced dealership required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
  • Experience with Dealertrack, vAuto, ADP, Vin Solutions preferred
  • Automotive experience with various vehicle brands including luxury and import vehicles preferred
  • Ability to exceed revenue and other performance targets set by management
  • Ability to work as a team with sales managers to achieve common goals
  • Demonstrated phone-based selling skills required along with superior customer service skills
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision are essential
  • Must be able to work occasional evening and weekend hours

Job Duties:

  • Maximize sales and profitability of the dealership to agreed levels of performance
  • Have the ability to create and maintain a process-driven work environments
  • Help design and execute dealership's defined sales and follow up standards and processes
  • Develop superior product knowledge of pre-owned vehicle model through product training
  • Train and motivate BDC representatives by setting goals and closely monitoring performance
  • Record all activity in dealership's CRM system
  • Monitor the use of the CRM system and Covideo by BDC and sales reps for all internet leads
  • Collect and analyze metrics by providing consistent reports to the General Manager including scheduled daily appointments, appointment shows, daily incoming & outgoing calls per representative
  • Ensure that all benchmarks are set and executed
  • Review website content daily to become familiar with inventory, specials and incentives
  • Work with website provider to continuously keep website fresh and inviting
  • Manage all social media accounts by updating with daily posts, pictures and useful content
  • Handle customer service issues and escalated calls/situations
  • Perform additional job related duties as requested by dealership management
